Dennis Weekes

Monroe

1961  -  2010

Our beloved husband, father, friend, and partner in crime, Dennis Weekes passed away after a long fight for life on March 1, 2010. Born December 19, 1961, in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Ray and Donna Weekes. Dennis was able to play the baby Jesus in the manger at the hospital where he was born.

Dennis was the energetic child of four and was the only boy. He trotted along his whole life as his sisters' protector and their best friend.

Dennis moved to West Valley, Utah at the young age of 2 and spent his life there til he met the love of his life Denine Weekes and married her on February 17, 1989. Shortly after, they welcomed their one and only daughter Ashley Weekes into the world and a couple years later their little boy they thought they would never have, Christopher Weekes.

Dennis is a loving man who cared for everyone and would give the shirt off his back for even the most random person. He is an amazing husband and father as well as friend. Dennis was a member of the Church of Jesus of Latter-Day Saints, and served in the Florida,Tallahasse Mission. He has served a great mission here on earth and has taught many people great life lessons. We will miss your smiles and laugh as well as your silly Donald Duck talk, Dennis we will miss you.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Denine, Monroe; daughter, Ashley, Salt Lake City; son Christopher, Monroe; parents Ray and Donna Weekes, West Valley; sisters: Linda (Garth) Wilkey, Pam (Markal) Merrell, Stephanie (Thomas) Gwyther; as well as many amazing friends!

He is preceded in death by his grandpa and grandma Weekes, grandpa and grandma Dennis; nephew, Joseph Merrell; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family would like to extend a thanks to Marlene Aldridge and Charlie Brown as well as the rest of the hospice staff. In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations at any Wells Fargo under the name Denine Weekes
